What I’m loving right now…!

Just a quick post today because I haven’t posted since the Zombie Walk…. :pouty:

Today is all about what I am currently obsessed with :happy: (And also to try out some new emoticons I’ve added…)

1. Dr Who

It’s all Jase’s fault!!
Actually I have no idea how we started watching it….Sebastian says “Jase was testing the computer to ps3 streaming”, Jase says “Didn’t you want to watch Tennant?” and Michael says “Whaa? I have no idea…”

Anywho, I think Jase is right(est), I have always liked Tennant (he’s the 10th Doctor) even though before last week I had never seen an episode of Dr Who in my life…I think it’s the intricate stories, the connections to the spin-off shows (Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures) and the way something that seems so small and unimportant becomes so important in the end that makes me love it so much! :biggrin:
The series 3 finale (well final 3 episodes) was amazing! It kept you guessing, I thought I had it figured out but I was so wrong! :pinch:
(It’s hard to explain without giving anything away and ruining it for someone :blink: )
My first and favourite Doctor is David Tennant :cheerful: He’s so lanky and hilarious, yet serious and smart…There were a lot of explosions in his 4 seasons, whenever they happened we sang “Cool guys don’t look at explosions…” (That song by The Lonely Island Feat. Will Ferrall) and then I found this picture that made me laugh

I :heart: the season 3 finale, but I think I :heart: the special episode “The End of Time” more (Tennant’s last episode) :cwy: I admit it, I cried..but so did Sebastian, Jase and Michael!

The Doctor is poisoned by radiation, but before he regenerates he visits his companions one more time.
He saves Martha and Mickey, pulls Sarah Jane’s son off the road before he gets hit by a car, sets up Jack Harkness with a guy at a bar and tells Rose that “2006 will be an interesting year”

2. “Geek and Gamer Girls Song”

I heard about this song when Diana at thegirlwithabow posted it on Twitter. :happy:

It’s sung by Team Unicorn, and parodies “California Gurls” by Katy Perry.

A few of my favourite lines:
-”Geek and Gamer girls, we’re unbelievable. We all know Han shot first”
-”We love Stan lee, And Joss created all our favorite shows” and
-”Jedi’s represent, now put your sabres up”
(And nothing is better than Seth Green rapping….)
